As an arranger, I look to find the core energy and essence of a piece and translate it into a new form, whether that is creating something that complements and builds upon the original or brings a completely fresh vision for the piece to life. I utilize my warm, organic, narrative compositional style in my arranging, unlocking the story of a piece, aligning it for the specific ensemble I’m working with, and writing intentional parts that help each individual to be expressive while a part of the whole. I began arranging a cappella in high school, and after my years with The Originals at Carnegie Mellon, vocal arranging remains at the heart of who I am as a musician. I also do instrumental arranging, most recently helping put together a series of charts for Magic Trick Rap Show Live!, a concert featuring many songs from the upcoming album Magic Trick Rap Show, my first collaboration as a part of Kid Wolf & The Albracultabra.
